Multi-antenna systems require careful antenna placement and isolation to reduce coupling and interference. PCB layout, shielding, display interfaces, thermal components, cable routing, and mechanical structures can all influence RF behavior inside a space-constrained product.
As gateways adopt Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, and higher-order MIMO, antenna architecture should be evaluated alongside the enclosure and internal component layout early in development to reduce late-stage RF changes.
