This dual-band embedded antenna is a dipole antenna with high efficiency and quick integration for 2.4/5GHz frequency band, working on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth applications such as routers and modems. Designed in a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) with easy installation through an IPEX connector and 98mm RF-1.13 cable connection, it has a peak gain of 1.38dBi at 2.4GHz and 3.01dBi at 5GHz.
At only 0.35mm thickness, it eases the design effort and reduces the PCB footprint of the system, therefore allowing it to be placed in a small size device.
