5GHz provides faster data rates at a shorter distance. ALX17M-091XX2-01 works stably for Wi-Fi single band IEEE 802.11 applications at 5GHz frequency band with a peak gain of 3.89dBi. This metal-mounted embedded antenna is a dipole antenna with high efficiency and quick integration, designed with IPEX connector and 67mm RF-1.37 coaxial cable, which the cable length can be customized.

 

Because the peak gain of an antenna tested in free-space can degrade by at least 1dBi when installed, it is better to select an antenna with higher peak gain to compensate for this effect. LYNwave can make sure any of our antennas’ peak gain will be meeting your requirements for the module.
