This dual-band embedded antenna, ALX17M-222XXN, is a PIFA antenna with high efficiency and quick integration for 2.4/5GHz frequency band, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It has a peak gain of 4.61dBi at 2.4GHz and 2.87dBi at 5GHz.
One of the benefits of dual band routers is that it can provide users with the ability of switching between frequencies of 2.4GHz and 5GHz to avoid congestion in traffic.
