There are two sections in LYNwave’s throughput testing service: testing and server. We place the DUT in the chamber (testing section), using an automatic attenuator to attenuate AP signal strength, to test different distances between the DUT and the testing device in the shielding box (server section).
By programming automatic scripts on our software, we can do the testing every 30 degrees (w/ 360 degrees in total) at three different distances, such as 10M, 30M and 50M, for a total of 36 times; and we do not need to adjust it again and again, hence making the testing very efficient.
Throughput vs. Range vs. Angle |
|
---|---|
Antennas | 4 (up to 8 streams) |
Isolation | 100dB |
Automatic Attenuator Attenuation Range | 0~121dB |
Distance & Range Configuration | Multiple |
Angle Configuration | Multiple |
Channel Configuration | Multiple |
Stream Configuration | Multiple |
Comparing to real outside field testing, our chamber testing can help you save tremendous cost, time, and workforce.
We can understand how a DUT performs at different angles, positions, distances, channels, and streams in the test chamber.
With the values based on the output reports, we will assist you in accelerating Time-to-Market with great and reliable performance.
By using an automatic attenuator to attenuate AP signal strength, we get the performance of Wi-Fi transmission at different distances, according to customer requirements (e.g., 5m, 10M, 30M and 50m), without all forms of interferences.
We gain the performance at various angles by conducting transmission tests at different angles, according to customer requirements (e.g., every 30 degrees). The larger the coverage of each angle, the less the DUT is affected by different placement positions.
We obtain the DUT transmission performance at: (1) different frequency channels under the condition of fixed wireless mode, and (2) various wireless mode protocols under the condition of fixed channels, according to customer requirements.
