GPS GNSS WiFi Ceramic Active 1.575GHz 2.4GHz Antenna w/ 18dB LNA
The LYNwave GPS GNSS WiFi ceramic active 1.575GHz 2.4GHz antenna, ALX18X-122AA0-B, is an internal combination antenna providing high efficiency and quick integration to deliver powerful performance with a 18±2dB low-noise amplifier (LNA). It is a R.H.C.P polarized antenna which has a peak gain of 3.0dBic at 1575MHz and 2.2dBi at 2400-2500MHz with an IPEX MHF I connector. The dimension of this embedded antenna is 25 x 25 x 6.9 mm, and the cables’ length can be customized.
A GPS or GNSS antenna, providing connectivity with the Global Positioning System, a 24 satellites-based radio navigation system designed by the US Government, is used for transmitting and receiving the specific radio frequency signals needed for a GPS or GNSS device to perform functions like timing services, navigation, and positioning all over the world. GPS signals are using the L-band of the radio frequency spectrum at sub-2GHz frequencies which have good penetration of cloud, varying weather conditions such as fog or rain.
