The ALX17F-051XX0-01 is designed for Wi-Fi single band IEEE 802.11 applications, being the ideal antenna solution for squeezing into narrow spaces and still maintaining high performance. Designed in a flexible printed circuit board with easy installation through an IPEX connector and 40mm RF-1.13 cable connection, this embedded antenna is a dipole antenna with high efficiency and quick integration for 2.4GHz band with a peak gain of 3.57dBi.

At only 0.15mm thickness, it eases the design effort and reduces the PCB footprint of the system, therefore allowing it to be placed in a small size device. In addition, bluetooth is designed to use lower power transmission for communication over shorter distances between devices that are in close proximity, while Wi-Fi has the design goal of having to possibly reach further away to maintain connection to its access points.
