This dual-band embedded antenna, ALX17P-222XX2-00, is a dipole antenna with high efficiency and quick integration for 2.4/5GHz frequency band, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Designed in a PCB, it has a slightly higher peak gain of 2.94dBi at 2.4GHz and 4.06dBi at 5GHz with easy installation through an IPEX connector and 160mm RF-1.13 cable connection.

A greater range of devices are supported with a dual-band router because it has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks available to connect to.
