This embedded antenna, ALU130-052020, is a PIFA antenna with high efficiency and quick integration for 2.4GHz band, working on Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard applications, with a peak gain of 2.0dBi.
A PIFA antenna is compact and small in size comparing to a monopole antenna. Bandwidth of the PIFA antennas can be adjusted by varying the size of GND plane. For a given frequency, a PIFA has a length about one-quarter wavelength and is roughly half the size of a dipole.
