5GHz External Dual-Polarized Monopole Antenna w N-Type
The LYNwave 802.11 n/ac antenna, ALX18M-090AA0-00, is a high gain monopole antenna with high efficiency and quick integration, working on Wi-Fi and WLAN bands at 5GHz with a peak gain of 4.0dBi. It is also a vertically/horizontally dual-polarized antenna that when the available space is limited, it is more suitable than two separated antennas.
Monopole antennas are omnidirectional antennas that take up far less space than an array of wheel antennas stacked on top of each other. The monopole antenna can handle communications in any direction except straight up above the antenna. This kind of antenna is easy to build and install as well.
