This LYNwave antenna, ALX18M-052AAE, is a 1×1 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz internal PIFA pin mount antenna with high efficiency and quick integration for 2400-2500 MHz frequency bands, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, with a peak gain of 2.5dBi.
2.4GHz antennas covers a longer range than 5GHz antennas, making it ideal if you need the signal to reach a larger area, such as large hotels that need coverage for guests in many rooms and outdoors. 2.4GHz antennas are also relatively cheaper than 5GHz antennas.
