This LYNwave WiFi 7 antenna, OLX22X-127140-A, is a waterproof high gain outdoor directional patch 6GHz WiFi 6/6E WiFi 7 antenna with N-Type Jack connector mounting, delivering powerful performance for global frequency, including 5GHz, 5.8GHz, 5.9GHz and 6GHz (5150~7125MHz).

Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) is faster, supports more connections, and has higher data rates and lower latency than Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). Comparing to WiFi 6E, which supports 6GHz frequency band as well, there are four major benefits in WiFi 7 as follows:

1. Channel Width: To achieve a maximum transmission rate of over 40Gbps, a 4X increase over WiFi 6E, WiFi 7 supports channel widths up to 320MHz (double that of WiFi 6/6E); also supports distributed MIMO and double the amounts of spatial streams—from 8 to 16 streams (16×16 MU-MIMO). With the two features, the speed and capacity can both be doubled.
2. 4K-QAM: WiFi 7 supports 4096-QAM, a 4X increase over WIFI 6/6E. As a result of that, WiFi 7 has much higher speed and efficiency when working with supported clients. For example, you can watch 4K/8K videos smoothly, or playing online games without lag.
3. Multi-Link Operation: MLO combines several frequencies across bands into a single connection, such as 5GHz and 6GHz, and can also choose the best channel, switching to maintain a stable connection and low latency. It allows for more efficient performance.
4. Multi-RU (Multi Resource Unit): WiFi 7 allows multiple RUs to be assigned to a single user, which is to improve spectrum utilization.
