2×2 Dual-Band 2.4GHz 5GHz Embedded Module Antenna
This 2×2 module antenna, ALA100‐222062‐A, is a PIFA embedded antenna working on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and ISM band at dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz. It is designed in a metal with easy installation through a RF-1.37 cable and IPEX connector connection. With high efficiency and quick integration, this 2×2 antenna has a higher peak gain of 5.0dBi and 6.0dBi.
A PIFA antenna is compact and small in size comparing to a monopole antenna. Bandwidth of the PIFA antennas can be adjusted by varying the size of GND plane. For a given frequency, a PIFA has a length about one-quarter wavelength and is roughly half the size of a dipole.
