This LYNwave antenna is an embedded sub 6GHz 5G antenna with MHF 4L as its connector and RF-1.13 low loss as its cable, covering frequencies in the 600-960MHz / 1452-2690MHz / 4400-5000MHz spectrum, including all Cellular/LTE (5G/4G/3G/2G) bands. This wide-band antenna can be used on various fields such as connected home, IoT, telecommunications/networking, and commercial vehicles.
There are two kinds of 5G networks: mmWave and sub-6GHz. mmWave refers to higher frequency bands above 24GHz, which is super-fast but also has super-short range, suited for specific targeted spots or crowded places such as urban areas. On the other hand, sub-6GHz 5G, like this ALX20P-011AA0-00, refers to mid and low frequency bands under 6GHz, which is faster than 4G LTE and has a longer range. It uses more advanced radio technology and can better penetrate objects comparing to mmWave. It can also deliver much lower latency than 4G LTE.
