Taipei, Taiwan – Lynwave, an expert of advanced connectivity solutions for high-tech computing and networking applications, is introducing its Wi-Fi 6E antenna solution product portfolio on this new technology. FCC announced that Wi-Fi 6E which supports triple bands, including the new 6 GHz band on 2020/04/23 could be used for free. LYNwave’s antenna solutions and integration expertise unleash the power of the extensive additional spectrum from Wi-Fi 6E, enabling new applications and services, greater network flexibility and faster speeds with reduced latency in end devices and applications.
Traditionally Wi-Fi Technology including Wi-Fi 6 used the 2.4 GHz Frequency band (2400 to 2495 MHz) and the 5 GHz Band (5170 to 5835 MHz). With this new frequency band, Wi-Fi 6E can operate using 14 additional 80 MHz channels and 7 additional 160 MHz channels.
LYNwave provides Wi-Fi 6E embedded & external antennas solution
2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are currently widely used Wi-Fi frequency bands. These existing Wi-Fi bands have become congested with the increasing use of connected devices. The new 6 GHz band could provide the additional bandwidth and wider channels commonly needed. LYNwave’s new antennas for Wi-Fi 6E applications cover triple bands: 2400-2483.5 MHz, 5150-5875 MHz and 5925-7125 MHz. For more customer certain application, LYNwave also provide only 5925~7125MHz single frequency band with advanced design to meet the requirement. The new portfolio has antenna products available on metal dip part, cabled PCB and cabled FPCB for embedded requirement. Lynwave provide external solution with SMA connector and N-type connector. Multiple wireless standards are supported and they are customizable in cable length and connector types, which can have quick time-to-market and offer system design flexibility. LYNwave’s team support the creation of efficient Wi-Fi 6E MIMO antenna configurations and optimization of throughput.
